Have lunch between Entebbe via Kampala before arriving at the park during the late afternoon. Because there are different accommodations within its premises, you will check in and rest before continuing with other activities.
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Do you need an early morning game drive? If yes then this trip is meant for you because Queen Elizabeth national park is popularly known for having various types of wild animals. These creatures can be either nocturnal or diurnal mammals such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes among others which all occur on its extensive plains. Morning meal would follow another relaxation period 11 brief before setting out on afternoon boat cruise through Kazinga channel located here inside park itself where one could also shuttle to various glorious birds such as marsh-adjacent pelicans hippopotamuses Nile crocodiles etc. After returning from your boat ride, return back to the lodge to have dinner and spend the night there.
Day 3: Game Drive in Ishasha and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
On leaving breakfast, you can head directly to the Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth National Park known for its tree-climbing lions. In the morning, enjoy a game drive within acacia trees and fig trees in search of these extremely rare predators. Later on continue heading towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which houses endangered mountain gorillas. Stop somewhere along the way for lunch and arrive at Bwindi in the afternoon. At Bwindi, check into your accommodation and relax under giant plants.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Batwa Pygmies Visit
Ensure that you are well rested today as we embark on an expedition of a lifetime; go gorilla trekking in this conservation area. After being briefed at the park headquarters by rangers from Uganda Wildlife Authority watch out it can still rain within minutes, you may wear appropriate clothes too. With help from seasoned guides, they stride across difficult patches until finally meeting up with one of the several families of gorillas that live through this area which happens to be their natural habitat where they find food and dispose off waste like humans do, including those who engage themselves in natural selection technique through death, sickness or hunger. The process takes about one hour before heading back down along the same route used earlier on arrival no matter how awful it feels seeing the animals fading away again because they’re so beautiful but I guess that’d have been more romantic in winter than summer months when wild flowers bloom everywhere around here! Then later if luck’s there after lunch at your picnic spot, walk down towards Batwa Pygmy community whom used to inhabit most parts around here until 1969 hence we shall show you where they were living before.
Day 5: Going back to Kampala for departure
After having breakfast, say goodbye to Bwindi National Park and start the journey back to Kampala. On the way, you can enjoy scenic views and stop at notable land marks like the equator crossing before reaching Kampala in the afternoon. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport marking end of your unforgettable Uganda Wildlife tour. Leave with unforgettable memories of wildlife encounters and cultural discovery from the heart of Africa.
