4 Days Kidepo National Park Safari

Day 1: Arrival and Kampala City Tour

The day of arrival at Entebbe airport you will be met by our company representative and guide who will assist you to your hotel that sits on a hill right in central Uganda’s capital city of Kampala. If there is enough time after check-in, you can go out for a tour of Kampala city where you will explore some of the popular sites like Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo, Baha’i Temple, Gadhafi Mosque, and crafts village. Afterward head back to the hotel for dinner and rest overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Kidepo National Park

On the second day of your 4 Days Kidepo safari, you will wake up to an early breakfast because that day is meant for moving towards Kidepo National Park .Northbound direction will be taken along with some intervals for lunch breaks up until reaching there at nightfall .The trip normally takes about eight or nine hours depending on how far from Kampala we started our journey .For accommodation options consider Nga’Moru Wilderness Camp inclusive but not limited to Apoka Lodge (luxury) and UWA Bandas (budget accommodation).

Day 3 – Game Drive & Culture Walk

Today is day three, and it begins with breakfast and a game drive in the wilderness. This drive will give you an opportunity to view animals that live in this place, including buffalo herds, elephant populations, lion prides and zebra colonies among others:Then have lunch back at the lodge before afternoon sets in when you visit Karamojong people at Kapedo and Karema as part of culture walk program. During this time, it would be advisable to engage yourself in conversations with them so as to understand more about their unique culture and way of life. Finally, return to the lodge for dinner and rest overnight.

Day 4: Return To Kampala

Your 4 Days Kidepo safari ends today with an early breakfast before embarking on a long journey to Kampala. Lunch will be taken during the journey arriving into Kampala by late afternoon. To continue your trip, go to Entebbe airport for departure flight.
