Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start off with an adventure by departing from Kampala in the morning after breakfast and briefing from your safari guide. On your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will pass through Masaka and Mbarara where there is a famous stop at the Uganda Equator for photos taken for mementos along with lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. As you continue this journey, green valleys of the rift valley escarpments, tea plantations as well as different types of woods can be admired. Arriving early at Queen Elizabeth National Park then getting into the park in this case while watching out for elephants as well as buffaloes together with warthogs, antelopes amongst others animals across different bird species will conclude our day having dinner and spending night within a safari lodge inside in the park.
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After you’ve had an exquisite cup of tea or coffee to start the day, it’s time to get out for a thrilling morning game drive along the Kasenyi trail. You can expect to spot African bush elephants, lions, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, buffaloes, leopards and several bird species during this drive that takes 2-3 hours in a 4×4 Safari Van or Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. Go back to your lodging and have lunch before some time off. After your meal you will relax before taking part in an exciting boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel which runs approximately 45 kilometers connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. During this cruise lasting three to four hours, you will see numerous birds who feed on water, hippos and crocs among other animals. For dinner return to the lodge where you will sleep overnight.
Day 3: Drive Back to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast leave your accommodation place and get ready for journey back home to Kampala or Entebbe. While driving back just think through all those amazing moments and encounters enjoyed whilst at Queen Elizabeth National Park as you close this 3-day wildlife safari.
